Beneath a gluttonous gut, thick bristles of boar
ears and eyes of lynx
fierce points of light blazing through dark nights
foul stench as it reveals its fangs
drool running down its putrid jaw
a rabid beast broken by man
drooping gums, and the snout of hunting dogs
Beyond the tree line of a cursed land
Roars of wild creatures, faint muffled screams
Suddenly silenced, for we do not speak of those
For in a fairytale land there can be no misery
Regal stag antlers
Cast off by the beast with the changing autumn winds,
ears and eyes of lynx
old and no longer serving the beast
madness flowing through its veins

wretched human
