lyrics
As the ash begins to fall
Suffocate beneath it all
Buried in memories of what once stood
Regret slowly consumes the soul
Hallowed ground reduced to ash
Desecrated by willful neglect
Isolated from life and love
Mourning spirits descend the void
Mourn the light through this night
See what fell, see through ash
Ash, replace rain that fell
Rain, distant memory
My will fades, as the tides
Born adrift in this dusk
Witness flow eternal
Flame, concealed by the tides
Ceaseless dark, boundless night
As the last ash descends
Unmarked graves usher the end
Tide consumes the ruins of life
Under seas, what remains dies
Hallowed earth buried in waves
Condemned to endless grief
Read the final eulogy
Mourning spirits silent again

Ah yeah! This is the real music. You deserve a hearty THANK YOU. You bring rock. It has that emotional significance that good sounding instruments often bring. Music with feeling. Sounds much like Staind minus the vocals. Michael

Incredible work. The anxiety and horror of the ocean is so present in the music and lyrics. Sad that I came upon this project after its conclusion but excited to see what the musician behind it will do next if anything. Will be a blessing regardless I figure. Grey

God, there’s just so much here to enjoy. Not all of these artists are Syrup Moose Records artists (yet), but the list Syrup Moose friends is long and distinguished. And just about every sub-genre of the metal world is represented here quite beautifully. 100% worth the price of entry. Kirk Gauthier
